really this sums up the AUM festival. on the way to the festival we drove past a giant roadside mushroom statue. good omen right? i knew this would be an interesting experience when entering town you see hords of bikers and signs stating "welcome hell's angels 2007!" i have to admit i went into the festival with a "not feeling like myself" from the last couple months. i came out feeling completely aligned. i suppose i will be generous and give the reiki healer a little credit in that ;-) the size of the festival was small but added to the experience. i really felt i got to know people i had met in the past or already consider friends on a different level. bonus~ i found lots of fire people to play with. giving the gift of fire, and the gift of tricks is very therapeutic for me. besides its nice to give a slap in the face to those who hord knowledge. the venue was fantastic. those involved, please hold onto this place! eureka springs is wonderful as well. and being in driving range of such a wonderful lake is a bonus. i feel like i didn't get enough time swimming out there. my favorite part of the festival was the folks i camped with. seriously, how did i not meet some of these people previously? though it got a lil dark for my bent mind at times, and i qoute from boozer "too dark for mister darkness?" the music line up was fantastic. my feet hurt. i danced till i couldn't. mission accomplished. AUM must happen again. much luv -j

So I have posted some event listings for up coming fundraisers. First I wanna apologize about the date on the CBU fundraiser. The date is April 21st, not April 28. I urge everyone who can to come out to either fundraiser. This seems to be the year I get my way and provide a system for bands and "other" styles of DJs. I will probably be spending my dancing hours at the MindLicker, but I want to see some diversity! We are bringing in high quality sound, hopefully the loud and closed off variety. We can't do this without your support. Also, if anyone wants to come out and set up an information center, that would be great! Lets educate potential InterFusers, ya'll!
