This woman is the most amazing combination of high and grounded. She can get her freak on with the best of them. She knows how to fun and frolick. And when it comes right down to it, she's got clear vision, a sharp brain, and kindness from every pore.

Cherry?
Ah ah ah, but you should be so looking forward to her. Not the way you look forward to a birthday party where you get happy tummy flutters and hug yourself and dance pretty butterfly dances, but the way you feel when you've dropped acid a half hour ago and you look at the clock to see if it's working, and the clock is exactly at the same time it was three minutes before but then the hands stretch double their natural length and time moves sideways and you're kind of scared...but really really happy.

One student's answer blew me away: Monkeys' day out. On this holiday we would release all the monkeys from the zoos and laboratories then cower at home while the monkeys wreak havoc in the streets. OK, sadly, the student wasn'...

Conferencing with students, grading papers, going to meetings and ordering books as well as planning for next semester--it's all a little too much. I want to go off somewhere and laugh and get roaring drunk with my friends--so it's a good thing that that's what I have planned for the weekend.
