Makes me wish that I was gay, or actually poly (his gf is similarly mad hot). Unwittingly helped me freak my wife out a little bit when I used a big profile photo of his face as a desktop for a minute. She asked "who the hell is that?" and I said "oh...... just this... guy I know from the internet"

James is super fun, super smart, super awesome, and a super duper friend. Always has your back. He gives great advice and words of encouragement when times are low, and is supportive and fun when times are good. And he and MG are the most amazing couple to be around. They compliment each other so well, it is beautiful to witness.

What did the trick I believe was the Silver Sulfadiazine (Thermazine, Silverdene, etc.). Well, that and not running. I asked the doctor why he nor the other doctors did not prescribe the shit in the first place, and his answer kind of surprised me: Essentially Silverdene is only prescribed for people that have severe 2nd degree burns ~ severe meaning bordering on 3... read more
They gave me a higher dose of Prednizone, some more Vicodin, etc. No infection and the spider bites were nominal, even though they were huge, very painful, and horrible in appearance.

This was a week ago. I'm not going back on meds. Whew. The doctors say I may have problems with pain & dissipating heat all summer. The red may even come and go intermittently for a few more months as well. Who knew that prolonged, GRADUAL sun damage could lead to 2nd degree burns and major skin damage? ... read more
Update: It's been a total of seven weeks now. Sleep is quite out of the question tonight It's HOT.

The heat is seriously kicking my ass. I'm going back to the Urgent Care center tomorrow. Again. For the third time. Plus everytime I run out of medication or my body even gets a little hot I just relapse again and again. I was improving slightly for a while - only two days ago in fact, but the inflammation, pain, itching, and blistering are returning. I took all the precautions - and meds - I could think of: I only when out in the daytime when it was absolutely necessary and for a few minutes at a time, and even when I did I covered my skin well, using SPF 50 underneath my clothing, wore a hat, used an umbrella... read more

I never heard of it before recently. You bet your taint I’ll never not hear about it again from now on! I mean…fuck: Two & half weeks ago I got a moderately severe sunburn on one of my long runs. Everything was kosher/honkey-dory until it started getting worse. ASS worse. I mean I’m talking unsavory, pusey blisters adorning my face, neck, and arms.
