My two sons are great people that actually like spending time with me, and vice versa.

My career has been fun and I've had the opportunity to work with nice, smart people doing important work that mattered. Managed to pick up some scratch along the way and now work mostly from home but still like to do long hours on hard problems.

I like to start things, especially businesses that leverage some technological feature. I've tracked satellites, designed and built systems to test inertial guidance systems and other motion simulation needs. Worked in the newspaper biz gaining great respect for the fourth estate back in the 80's, large commercial printing plants, and was an co-owner of a digital production studio started in 1988 that was sold for it's internet assets in 1997.

Helped start a speech technology company and consulted on the design of a voice driven system for the creation of documents that comply to the Clinical Document Architecture specification.

In addition to PeaceMaker another effort is to develop a business model that provide health care services and information for less than 10% of what it costs today.
