at this moment, i am wondering how quickly i can finish whatever nonsensical task i'm stuck with so that i can blast some music and rock the hoop until i'm exhausted. yes, i am that neighbor. yes, that is the sound of my hoop breaking something else. yes, i'm going to need to repaint, as well.

back on tribe

wow. it's been a long time since i've been on tribe (a year and a day to be exact). funny since i just got back from my second firedrums (aka raindrums) which, though decidedly different than last time, was nonetheless fantastic.

i've tended to be more of a crackbook addict these days. forgive me if i haven't responded to your messages in awhile.

into the fire

i spent the weekend attending my first firedrums. wow. what an amazing event.

it was super cool to be hanging both with my fellow solar flaristas and the new friends i made there. what an incredible collection of talent! i spent my time alternating between spinning, socializing and just watching the performances. got a few kickass spins in once i calmed down. and got my first real set of burns. i feel proud.

i don't often use the word blessed because of its religious connotations, but i genuinely feel blessed to the know the peeps i do, to have the social opportunities i have, and to be able to play with fellow freaks. best life ever.
