about me
Movement Artist, Creative Engineer & Educator -

A professional in the dance and underground arts arenas for over 7 years.

Miss :MoJo: DeVille began her formal dance training in NYC. Trained by the very pioneers that created & shaped the NYC hip-hop dance scene, Miss DeVille also moved on to study within the walls of Juilliard, The Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory, Ailey and Dance Theater Workshop. A student of such modern/contemporary greats as Stanley Love, Edisa Weeks & Fiona Marcotty-Dolenga – :MoJo: fostered a love for hybrid choreographic works and deconstructive art.

Moonlighting as an agent of various NYC underground art scenes and subcultures, she began to assess and grow inspired by the glamorous, the dark, the mysterious and macabre. Her goal now – to challenge the current standards & stereotypes surrounding the movement, urban and oddity arts spheres.

More information about her classes, lectures and performances may be found at mojodeville.wordpress..com
