Sarah and I made the decision at the beginning of this month that we are moving back to LA. This has been my first experience leaving a densely and diversely populated city and I can say with a bit of conviction that it may well have been my last. In spite of the fact that I am leaving Riverside, I feel the goal I have set out toward is actually looking more and more likely (in the most unexpected ways) as I turn my eyes toward the city I love.

We are looking to find a 2 bedroom house with a yard on the east side of LA no further east than Boyle Heights. I am looking at Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Mt Washington, Boyle Heights, Atwater, Echo Park, and Elysian Park. We absoultely cannot pay any more than 1100 a month.

We normally find places most effectively by driving around neighborhoods I like searching for For Rent signs, but we are currently stuck without work until we move back and stretched thin with JUST enough money to cover deposit and first months rent. That said, driving into LA from Riverside begins to add up in gas money, so I am trying to make my trips into the city count. If anybody hears of anything or knows anybody who might have, please let us know.
