I'm an inquisitive, flirty, happy, self-reliant, very independent Aries. My interests are widely varied and I am always looking for new adventures and new things to capture my attention. I'm most at home either outdoors, in the shop or in the kitchen. I love to cook and bake for people, and even more so when camping.

I'm typically optimistic, even with things aren't going my way. I know if I've given all I can and it still isn't working, then it probably isn't supposed to and there is a good reason for it. I really love hanging out with people who get up and *do* things. I have a lot of energy, so it's tough for me to sit still for long. I'm totally crazy about all my friends who do weird and wonderful things and inspire me to do more.

Currently, I'm heavily involved with the organization and planning of Burning Flipside (www.burningflipside.com). I am the Ice Lead and the Area Facilitator for Site Operations.

I'm pretty well rounded, low maintenance and even lower drama. I find hanging out with the guys is sometimes more appealing for that very reason. Well, that, and I'm usually more interested in getting my hands dirty than getting my nails done. I've taken a recent liking to welding and building cars. Lucky for me, the Burner community offers many other females who like to do the same. These ladies rock and inspire me in so many ways!

I like honesty at all levels. Insult me if you must, but be honest. I have a great BS detector when it comes to men. Pull a crappy line on me (unless in jest) and that's as far as you'll get. I have no patience for someone who feels the need to constantly be loud and at the center of attention. That's my job (just kidding). I like equal partnerships, not one person always trying to outdo the other. I am very independent and like to do things (like welding) that sometimes intimidates men. I hate it when they turn it into a 'whose got the biggest dick' competition. I don't care. I'm not here to compete. I just want to DO these things for me, for art, for fun. What's wrong with that? Well..OK, I am competitive - if challenged. And agressive when I need to turn it on, but relationships and dating should not be competitive.

The feature I am most attracted to in a man is his eyes. I like to make a connection with the eyes first. I think a lot can be communicated without saying a word, just looks. I love that. It's very intimate and sexy. I love brown eyes.

There's a lot of fire and warmth in my personality. I'll put everything I have into whatever I'm doing, but particularly a relationship. If I feel that my effort isn't appreciated or returned, that fire will quickly turn to ice. I'm not going to chase after someone who isn't showing interest. I am very much an initiator. I think men have a hard time with that. I don't wait around for them to ask. I usually ask first unless I'm feeling shy. If that's too intimidating, then I've already weeded out the ones who will never mesh with my personality. I don't believe in the stupid dating rules like waiting for a day or two to call someone after a date. Who made that crap up anyway and in what decade? If I like someone, I'm going to tell them. Why not just be honest about it? I'm too much fire for some guys. I can be tamed, but only for someone who will invest the same that I would in them.

As is often the case, my attention has shifted elsewhere, so you'll just have to get to know me to get the rest.
