Oooh, I love me some Turtle. Every visit is a bit of groovy inspiration. Its not every day you meet a gal who knows her wine, can rollerskate, makes her own costumes, and make you giggle when you talk to her.

I leave for Mexico on the 5th. The Turtle Hat Project went well. Josh came over last night even though he was sick to help me cut patterns. I have about 10 kids hats cut out, and will make about 10 more. So, about 20 kids will gat a hat! I did not have 20 people sponsor a kid, but those (8 people) who gave were generous and I was able to get a lot of fun fur. I also had some fur donations. So I'm making lots of hats!

I'm not one to be mean spirited, I mean, I'm mean sometimes, but I try not to take it "too" far. I also try and reserve it for people not less fortunate than myself. And I'm all about people being who they are....despite what other people think.....but all that being said....this is fucking hilarious.

Well, I've only met the Turtle once but we did a lot of bonding in one short weekend. I found her to be sparkly, funny, saracastic (tops), hospitable (makes a mean guacamole), and downright fun to be around. If we can become friends in one weekend... impressive. You Rock.

Turtle is an incredibly gifted girl that seems to be able to put her hands right into the middle of her imagination. It’s a rare thing to imagine or dream and have the ability or sheer will to make it real. She is a gifted dancer, so when she says she dances her heart out; that is the honest truth. Watching her fire dance is an amazing experience! You can learn incredible details about her by watching her move. Her poise tells a story. I like to stare at her hands when she is making things. Her dexterity when driven by her talent is hypnotic. She has a light that shines right through to others, as if her whole body is a window to the bright, lovely soul within. If you don’t know her already… get with the program!

Turtle is genuine and innocent. She is playful and delightful to be around. She is fearless and strong, and perhaps it is because she is encased in some sort of shell, but I think the shell may just be for emergencies. I have never seen her hide in it. Did I mention that she is beautiful? Yes, she radiates beauty, love and warmth.

Turtle is one of my favoritest people ever. She's smart and funny and super hot, not only in appearance but also in personality and abilities. I love the fact that she's always trying to learn--about new things to do, about other people, and most importantly, about herself. Few people are as capable of looking objectively at themselves and learning about themselves as Turtle is, and she has a wonderful balance between looking out for herself and looking out for those she cares about. I've definitely learned a thing or two from her about how I want to "be". And she's a great shower buddy. :)

She is the bestest. =) She has lots of love to give, is super funky stylish,
and knows how to make a fashion nightmare like myself look good! I keep meeting incredible people everywhere I go whose lives have been touched by Turtle, which makes me think that she must be a karmic bazillionaire by now.
