My Blog
weekend: the quickening
This weekend was exactly what I needed (yes, the word need.) in SO many ways.
*heart*
use firefox
*cues music from "use sunscreen" track*
If you're still using IE, stop it. Do yourself and the rest of the
internets a favor.
1) AdBlock plus - It blocks ads. It does this really well seeing as how it's it's sole purpose for existing.
adblockplus.org/en/installation
2) Element Hiding Helper - This is a little bit more involved, in that you choose specific parts of webpages you visit on a regular basis to block. Prolly not
for everyone, but jesus it's dope once you figure it out.

Arcology Theory
www.arcosanti.org/project/main.html"The problem I am confronting is the present design of cities only a few stories high, stretching outward in unwieldy sprawl for miles. As a result of their sprawl, they literally transform the earth, turn farms into parking lots and waste enormous amounts of time and energy transporting people, goods and services over their expanses. My solution is urban implosion rather than explosion."
-Paolo Soleri
I had never heard about any of this site/theory. I blame firefox tabbed browsing.
Thanks firefox! *mentos thumbs up freeze frame*
